Stable Scoliosis
Scoliosis is a sideways curvature of the spine that can have long term effects on the joints of the spine.
Care for Scoliosis
Once the curvature of the spine stops progressing it is considered stabilized. Exercises, bracing and or surgery may be required to reach this stabilization. Symptoms of pain and immobility may persist and many can experience relief from chiropractic treatment. A doctor of chiropractic works on the biomechanics of the spine to alleviate any stresses brought on by the asymmetrical aligning of joints and the resultant effects on the muscles and surrounding soft tissues.
If you have stable scoliosis that is still generating some bouts of pain, please contact us to schedule a consultation.
